About
Accountability tends to find me. I get invested in problems; I want to understand them deeply, find better approaches, and contribute something that matters. My career isn't just work; it's one of the ways I pursue meaning.
Background
I started in healthcare software, building APIs for electronic medical records. The stakes were high; the systems couldn't fail. That experience shaped how I think about quality and testing. Since then, I've worked across multiple domains, notably retail and microfinance/remittance (fintech). Each domain brought its own constraints. Each reinforced the same lesson: the systems that matter most are the ones that have to work every time.
The domains and technologies change, but the pattern holds: complex integrations, high reliability expectations, teams who need systems they can trust. For me, there's genuine curiosity here. I find joy in the craft of building, clean code/architecture (with special focus on APIs and contracts), and iterating on hard problems.
Current Focus
I'm building full-time (and then some). I began working with Claude Code in January. AI-assisted development has unlocked a level of agency that is frankly thrilling. I can move from idea to shipped product faster than ever. I published my first webpage, built this site from the ground-up, and am preparing to ship my first iOS app. I keep building because I love to; there are always more ideas than time.
My most interesting technical experiments involve data pipelines: cleansing, enriching, and classifying with LLMs, embeddings, and RAG. The product experiments are simpler; things I'd use myself, lightly testing whether others might find them useful too. If something resonates, great. Either way, each project sharpens the next. See what I'm building.
What's Next
I'm looking for work that matters. Full-time, cofounder, contract, advisory; the structure is flexible. What I care about is the problem, the people, and values alignment.
